QRX Cairns

 The job that we took on in Cairns was due to the fact that the drainage on site was not working to the standard required so we had to lay about 450m of stormwater and 600m of ag-drain.  One of the issues we faced was laying pipe under 2 sets of train tracks with only six hours from the last train to the next one.  We excavated about 3000 tones of dirt and put in a drainage layer and then filled and compacted layers of 2.3 roadbase to the top, we then layed a 260m long concrete beam as a new runway for the gantry crane.  We also boxed out, filled with crushed rock and then 2.3 roadbase and 1000m2 of new access roads.
